What's walkable from Harbour Bridge
One of the real advantages of staying on the Foreshore is how much of Cape Town you can reach on foot. Harbour Bridge sits on the Roggebaai Canal at 1 Dockrail Road, between the city centre and the V&A Waterfront — so a lot of the trip happens without a car at all.
Within walking distance
V&A Waterfront
The headline walk. Follow the canal and the Foreshore walkways towards the harbour and you reach the Waterfront's shops, restaurants, markets and the Two Oceans Aquarium — as well as the departure point for Robben Island ferries. If you'd rather ride, the canal water taxi stops at Harbour Bridge itself.
Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC)
Harbour Bridge sits inside the CTICC precinct, so conference and exhibition days mean a short stroll rather than a commute — one of the reasons the apartment suits business visitors as well as holidaymakers.
Cape Town CBD
The city centre begins just beyond the Foreshore. Long Street, Bree Street and the surrounding restaurant and bar strips are an easy walk in, with Greenmarket Square and St George's Mall on the way.

A longer but very pleasant walk up through the city to the historic gardens, flanked by the South African National Gallery, the Iziko South African Museum and Parliament.
The Roggebaai Canal itself
The canal runs right past the building, and the waterside path is a quiet, flat route for a morning walk or run before the city wakes up.
Bo-Kaap
The colourful houses and cobbled streets of the Bo-Kaap sit on the slopes above the CBD. It's an uphill walk from the Foreshore, but a rewarding one — many visitors walk up and take a ride back.
Take the water taxi instead
The City Sightseeing canal water taxi lists Harbour Bridge as one of its stops, running along the Roggebaai Canal towards the Waterfront. It's a lovely way to arrive, and an easy alternative on a hot afternoon or when you simply don't feel like walking back.
Just beyond walking range
For the Atlantic Seaboard beaches, the Table Mountain cableway, the Cape Peninsula and the Winelands you'll want wheels — which is where the apartment's secure parking bay comes in. The Foreshore connects quickly to the major routes out of the city in every direction.
